Get Ready for a Great 2008

Mother Nature certainly threw a curve to the weather forecasters this year. Although this season was predicted to be a "La Nina" year (drier than normal in California), the River Gods were good to us. Recent snowpack data shows 108% of normal accumulation for the headwaters of the Kern River. With more storms on the way, we're guaranteed an extended season of outstanding rafting on all sections of the Kern. For those of you who love to look at California snowpack statistics and cool supporting graphics, check out this link: http://cdec.water.ca.gov/snow/bulletin120/b120mar08.pdf
